Mammy's Christmas Tree...

Tatum was so amazed by Mammy's rotating christmas tree. She loved watching the lights and ornaments. It was so fun to watch her. She makes me and her daddy (and grandparent's) smile everyday. She is growing too fast. I'm looking forward to spending every christmas with her!!!

Just some cute pics...

This are just a few pics of Tatum that I thought were cute so I thought I would post them.

All dressed up to go see Santa

We took Tatum and cousin Kingston to see Santa this week. Kingston wasn't too excited to see Santa (I didn't blame him, Santa wasn't too jolly), but Tatum had no clue what was going on so she was okay with him. I took pics of her in her little oufit that Mammy bought her, she looked adorable.

Looking pretty

I finally talked Matt into letting me take and get Tatum's ears pierced. I had been trying to convince him for about a month. He finally gave in and told me that I could take her and have it done, but he was drawing the line-- "there was not going to be a belly button ring or nose piercing". They look absolutely adorable! Pa Pa has already went and bought Tatum her first set of real diamond earrings but she can't have them until Christmas (he had them wrapped already). Until then she has to continue wearing her fake ones.

Fall time in Tennessee

We stopped at a rest area in Tennessee on the way to see the family for the week. We decided to take pictures next to the pretty flowers and pumpkins. It was decorated so nice for the fall season.

Is this swing thing supposed to be fun???

I don't know if Tatum will ever enjoy swinging in her swing (it used to be cousin Kingston's swing). When my nephew Kingston was a baby I remember he loved to swing in it, but that's not the case with Tatum. She will sit in it for a few minutes and she's had enough, the crying begins and that's with the music on it going. Maybe she will grow to like it, but for now the swing thing is not happening!

Shake, rattle, and roll

She is in deep thought, doesn't know exactly what's going on!

Tatum is moving her arms a lot now and cooing, so today I tried the wrist rattles on her. She absolutely loved them, she grinned the whole time they were on. It is amazing how much she is already noticing.

STYLIN' AND PROFILIN'

It's a good thing Tatum is such a good baby. I think we try on at least 5 different outfits before we find one that fits her. Matt came home last night and I had Tatum already dressed, and he said "Oh I guess we have the two-layer look going on". She looked so cute!!

Happy baby girl..

would love to know what she is thinking

Tatum is such a happy baby! She loves taking a bath, and mommy and daddy have so much fun with her. She smiles constantly and has started making a lot of cute sounds. I know she thinks mommy and daddy are absolutely crazy with all of the funny faces we make at her, and all the talking we do. She is truly a blessing to us.

Growing girl...

It's hard to believe that Tatum will be 2 months old soon. She has so much personality already, she loves to smile and is making so many different noises. We have been very blessed to have a baby girl that loves to sleep. We just made the transition from bassinet to crib on Friday (mommy's first night back to work), so daddy did all the work. She is doing wonderful, she sleeps through the night, she makes it too easy on us!!!

Train ride

Tatum went on her first train ride. Pa Pa, Mammy, Aunt Crystal, cousin Kingston, Tatum, and me got to enjoy a nice train ride in Bardstown, Ky. The train was robbed by cowboys!! Aunt Crystal is holding Tatum while she sleeps through the experience. We also visited Nashville, TN. and Gulf Shores, Ala. on Tatum's first vacation.

So much to do...

Tatum did so many things in the first month. Here she is with uncle Scott on Coby's 4-wheeler, she also took a wheelbarrow ride with Grandpa Sandusky, Sydney, and Coby. Tatum also went to the Cabarrus County fair where she experienced her first concert, Keith Anderson, and she sat on the pink tractor. She also got to ride in Pa Pa's "OLD BLUE" truck!!

Under the lights!

Tatum had to go back in the hospital two days after we left, she had jaundice. We thought she just had a real pretty skin color (she still does even without the jaundice)!!! Look at those sunglasses! It was harder on us than it was her, she stayed under the lights overnight, and was only allowed out to eat and to be changed.

Tatum is finally here!!

We have waited so long to meet our baby girl, and she is finally here!! Tatum was born on Wednesday August 28, 2008 at 3:52 p.m. and weighed 6 pounds and 13 oz., and was 20 inches long. She is beautiful, and the spitting image of her daddy right now!
